Class 3000 - Chief Executive Officer Level

  1. The medal was a means of recognizing both battlefield and administrative leadership contributions. In order to more effectively recognize both the original Commanders Award was split into the Commander's Award and Battlefield Commander's Award. A lower, Community Operation level alternative to this medal is the Leadership Medal.

This medal shares a common design with the Battlefield Commander's Award: the lightning bolt and star signifying the effective decision making required of an administrative leader, and the shield signifying the implicit trust placed in the leader by Shinozaki.

This medal is awarded for administrative leadership that is far beyond the ordinary. Most members in SCP have no appreciation of the number of hours spent in tireless pursuit of the better division. From recruiting to attendance, and leadership development to dealing with "trouble spots", SCP's administrative leadership is glue that keeps the division together. Additional emphasis should be placed on those leaders that can effectively manage large-scale Community operations. As a CEO level award, this medal should only be awarded to those members that have earned the respect of their members, leadership, peers, and other leadership.

This medal is awarded to a member who has shown exemplary leadership in unit operations. This member has consistently and expertly molded character, enthusiasm, good communication, and member's individual strengths into first class unit.
